Get ready — we move fast.

Your heart is too important to wait weeks or months to get started. Here's what to expect next:

  • An Alignment Check (<15 min): A quick call to make sure our program is a general fit for you and your health goals.

  • A Discovery Call (~30 min): A deeper dive with your Patient Liaison, covering both your history and the full IHH program, including time and investment.

  • Official Onboarding: Once you've joined, we schedule an onboarding call within 48 hours to start gathering your labs, paperwork etc.

  • First Visit with Dr. Bakir (60+ min): Depending on your availability, we aim to get your first call with Dr. Bakir booked as soon as possible, often within a week of joining IHH.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question 1: Can't I just sign up online?

Our Alignment Call is designed to make sure that our method is broadly a good fit for you. While we believe our 6 month program is the ideal first step for patients seeking a more proactive approach to their heart health, it isn't for everyone (e.g., patients who need urgent, invasive interventions).

Question 2: Do you accept my insurance?

InfiniteHeart Health is a private-pay practice, and the services provided under our InfiniteHeart Protocol are a one-time investment.* The level of focus and attention we give each patient is what we think makes our approach so effective, and insurance companies aren't willing to cover more than an occasional visit. However, any medications and supplemental labs and imaging that we order are billed through your regular insurance (e.g, Medicare or employer-sponsored plans).
*paid in full or financed through a third party at the outset of treatment

Question 3: Can I just pay to see Dr. Bakir once? Does it have to be 6 months?

Dr. Bakir designed the InfiniteHeart Protocol to deliver a meaningful turnaround in a patient's heart health. She determined this requires 6 months of regular visits, treatments, testing and compliance. At this time, all patients start with this program.

Question 4: Where are you located? Do I need to travel to see my team in person?

InfiniteHeart Health visits are virtual, though all labs and imaging will be done locally. Virtual visits allow our patients the flexibility to stay engaged with our high-touch program from wherever they may be in the world — including the comfort of their own home. This model also keeps overhead costs down, which we feel is essential in a private-pay environment.

Dr. Bakir is Chicago-based, but the virtual practice enables us to provide care across most US states.
